About Me

I’m Kim Rounds—a storyteller, strategist, and lifelong agvocate with a passion for connecting people to the cattle industry through content that’s both real and relatable. I believe that the stories we tell shape how the world sees agriculture, and I’ve made it my mission to tell them well.

By day, I lead social media and talent acquisition for Five Rivers Cattle Feeding, the largest cattle feeding company in the U.S. I create content that builds trust, inspires curiosity, and celebrates the hard work behind every steak. Whether it’s crafting a reel from the feedyard, writing posts that resonate, or recruiting the next generation of ag professionals, I love turning complex, boots-on-the-ground work into meaningful messages.

With degrees in Animal and Equine Science from Colorado State University and years of experience across beef programs, media, and education, I bring a unique mix of industry knowledge and communication savvy to every project.

My love of all things equine and bovine has led me to be a groom for an international show jumper, a National Beef Ambassador, a teaching assistant for CSU’s Legends of Ranching class, a back-to-back top-5 finisher at the National Reined Cowhorse Association’s Celebration of Champions, and, in 2021, a part of both COWGIRL Magazine’s 30 under 30 and Northern Colorado’s 40 Under 40 presented by Biz West.

In 2024, I took on a new title that shifted my perspective in the best way—“Mom.” My son Everett reminds me daily why this work matters. It’s about legacy, connection, and ensuring the next generation understands where their food comes from and that we are still here producing it.
